World Car Awards - Juror Profile



Michael Georgiadis was always driven by his passion for cars, technology and racing. He has been writing about cars for 18 years, starting as a motorsports editor forF1 Racing and a staff editor for car-tuning magazine Faster.

Since 2005 he works for DRIVE, a magazine for car enthusiasts, about the love of driving. Eco mobility, road safety and innovative technology are also top priorities. Today he is the chief editor and also the main presenter for Drive Magazine channel on YouTube. He is also a contributor to Autocar magazine and Newsit, one of the most popular news websites in Greece.

In 2010, he worked as a commentator for the official F1 TV broadcaster. Since 2017, he voluntarily lectures in regular Road Safety Seminars organized in cooperation with the Hellenic Motor Museum, attended by almost 3.000 children.

Michael spends his spare time racing in go-kart and rallycross races.
