- November 17 - 19, 2025: 11th L.A. Test Drives in Pasadena, California that coincides with press day at the L.A. auto show on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
December 2025
- Monday, December 29, 2025: Deadline - Round 1 Voting.
January 2026: World Car Finals - The Countdown Begins
- Tuesday, January 6, 2026: Top Ten Finalists in World Car of the Year and Top Five finalists in World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Urban Car, World Electric Vehicle of the Year, and World Car Design of the Year.
- World Car Finals Countdown Begins.
- Second round of test-drives and voting begins.
- January 12 to 26, 2026: World Car Person of the Year: Top 3 Finalists Announced.
February 2026: Finalists' Test Drives
- Tuesday, February 10, 2026: World Car Person of the Year is announced.
- Jurors test-drive Top 10/5 finalists, to select the winners.
- Monday, February 16, 2026: Deadline - Round 2 Voting.
March 2026: World Car Finals - Top Three in the World
- Tuesday, March 3, 2026: Top Three in the World finalists announced.
April 2026: The Winners
- Wednesday, April 1, 2026: All World Car Award winners announced live at the New York International Auto Show
