Ginny is one of the UK's most senior automotive journalists and has been at the heart of broadcasting, journalism and transport for 25 years. An expert on low carbon transport, Ginny founded the electric car advice site Electrifying.com in 2020, which has gone on to become the UK's leading authority on electric cars and the wider ecosystem.
Ginny presents on automotive and transport related issues for the award winning ITV1 current affairs programme Tonight, along with Channel 4's highly regarded Dispatches, while she regularly appears across the wider media discussing the automotive sector and is a regular on BBC television and radio.
The first female motoring editors of a UK national newspaper and former Sky News anchor, Ginny is also a juror for the prestigious World Car of the Year awards (WCOTY). She works at UK Government level, and recently produced a Beginners’ Guide to Going Electric in association with the Department for Transport.
For the past fifteen years Ginny has sat on the Board of Trustees for the Manchester United Foundation, where she works to engage and empower young people through STEM and is the lead trustee for sustainability.
Other presenting credits include BBC One's Crimewatch Roadshow and Watchdog, along with numerous car programmes. Ginny also presents the iconic BBC One programme Escape to the Country, broadcast in over 50 countries.
