STEVEN EWING		Freelance Journalist -- Ars Technica, Autoblog, Car and Driver, Jalopnik, Motor1, Motor Authority, Porsche Panorama, SlashGear, The Drive, and more Steven Ewing is an award-winning automotive journalist with nearly two decades of experience. Growing up in Detroit -- the Motor City -- Ewing was surrounded by car culture, and his entrance into the automotive media world came at a young age. His first story was published on Automobile when he was just a teenager, and landed a staff position at Winding Road under the direction of David E. Davis, Jr., when he was just 19. Since then, Ewing has held editor positions at Autoblog, Motor1, and CNET, before making the switch to freelance journalism in 2022. Ewing loves to tell a funny story, and his experience in this business has given him many a tall automotive tale to share. When not occupied by writing and editing, Ewing enjoys photography, playing music, going for long drives, traveling the world, and having breakfast for dinner.
