Senior Editor, Autos at Newsweek

After starting her professional life in the sports and travel industries, Eileen refocused her career to journalism, turning her attention to the automotive space and finding a new passion in the process.

Over the last decade, Eileen has been part of the American City Business Journals, CarGurus, U.S. News & World Report, Trucks.com, and Gow Media automotive editorial teams, among others. She also co-hosted an autos-focused, nationwide radio show.

Eileen currently leads the Autos section editorial efforts at Newsweek for a global audience. The Autos team coverage spans all facets of the auto industry from design and manufacturing to new model launches, technology, sustainability and innovation. She founded and leads the company's World's Greatest Auto Disruptors and Autos Awards programs.

In addition to written words, Eileen works with a video production team at Newsweek to create unique produced video, social media, and livestream content available to audiences across multiple platforms.

She also connects with subscribers via Subtext, giving them insight into the day-to-day life of an automotive journalist.

Eileen is a frequent presenter at auto industry events including the J.D. Power Auto Summit, and was part of the Voices of Women in Automotive by Reuters in 2024.
