LIONEL ROBERT

Automobile editor-in-chief - Paris-Match (French weekly)

Lionel Robert is a journalism graduate who joined the French publishing house Hachette Filipacchi in 1991 as the Assistant Editor-in-chief of Auto Moto magazine. He worked for this particular magazine until 1999 when he then focused his energies on creating the web site Auto-Moto.com.

From there he moved over to Excelsior Publications as Editor-in-chief of Automobiles Classiques from 2001-2003.

Since 2004, Lionel Robert has worked for media giant Lagardere Active; first on Driven magazine (2004-2008), then Onze Mondial (2006-2008) and currently Paris Match magazine. He writes a weekly automotive column, "Vivrematch Auto".

He is currently the creator and organizer of the Automobile Awards since 2018.
