Hormazd began his career with The Indian Auto Journal in 1986 where he pioneered the concept of automotive journalism and road testing in India. Since then, Hormazd has been closely involved with the auto industry and market and his articles have appeared in all major publications in India and abroad. He is considered an authority on the Indian automobile market and is extensively quoted by the media. Hormazd is also a popular face on television and has the highest following on social media amongst auto journalists in India. Hormazd participated actively in motor sports from 1985-1994. The highlight of his career was overall second place in the grueling 4,000km Great Desert Himalaya Rally in 1988. He is also the first Indian journalist to have driven a Formula One car and holds a National Speed Record in India. |
