|Deputy Editor, Car and Driver|
Joe Lorio has been covering the auto industry for more than 20 years, an activity that has taken him to launch events and auto shows around the world.
The majority of his career was spent at Automobile Magazine - initially working for founder David E. Davis, Jr. and later under editor Jean Jennings. More recently, he moved to Car and Driver where he is now a deputy editor.
A career in the auto industry was almost pre-ordained for Joe Lorio who started reading license plates at age two, could identify most makes and models by elementary school, and whose favorite toys were Matchboxes.
